What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?
For me, it’s eroding trust. Consumers are savvy and also skeptical when it comes to brand marketing. You can have the best creative/content in the world and choose the best channel for your target audience, but if you are viewed as inauthentic and untrustworthy you’re marketing is dead in the water.
What makes your company unique?
My company is unique in that we are plugging a pretty large hole in the digital measurement space. We are really focused on giving brands and agencies a clear sense of how their digital marketing (particularly influencer marketing) made consumers think and feel about their brand. We didn’t believe that engagement rate and reach should be used as a proxy for success – so we developed our own approach to measurement.
