What is the biggest change in marketing that you see coming in the next 2 years?

OTT/CTV will continue to increase while traditional forms of media marketing will decline. OTT/CTV allows for targeting in ways that broadcast and cable just can’t match.

What is the advantage to working with an outside media buyer as opposed to having just an internal marketing director?

The cost of an internal marketing director is much higher than an outside media buyer. You need to provide insurance, unemployment, FICA, workers compensation, paid days off, etc. for an internal marketing director. With an agency, you do not need to cover any of those costs.


What is one tip that you would give when it comes to media planning?

Delegate your budget wisely. Don’t throw money at tactics just for the sake of advertising. Spend your marketing dollars where you are most likely to target and attract leads. Then, measure results through conversion tracking.
