Short company description:

Top College Consultants helps neurodivergent students with the college readiness, application and transition process. We have a diverse national team and work with families worldwide.

What Is Your Why (Why Are You In Business)?

I have strong connections to the autism world and love working with teens. I want to ensure that our students–who face many challenges–can navigate the transition to college successfully.

How did you get started in your field or work?

As a clinical psychologist, I’d worked with teens for many years. When I discovered the field of educational consulting, I realized I could combine my counseling skills with my dedication to promoting neurodiversity inclusion and my skills as a writer/editor.

What’s one thing we should know that makes your company unique?

Families who hire us for comprehensive college admission assistance are entitled to unlimited support for a single fee.

What are your biggest goals in the next 6 to 12 Months for your business?

I’d like to develop our academic coaching service which we just rolled out.

Who do you know that is impacted by Autism and how has that impacted you?

My son was diagnosed as a toddler in 1999. Years later, my wife and I simultaneously realized that I’m on the spectrum as well. This was a life-changing moment and I have been dedicated to neurodiversity inclusion ever since.
