Joey was team lead and producer for an original music series named, "The Black Diamond Presents", which focused on lifting up local singer/songwriters. Moreover, he produced "Live at the Bing" was the founder of the Inland Northwest SongFest. In 2024, he participated in Zac Brown's Warrior Song.

What differentiates you from the competition?Authenticity... there is only one me and no one has my story.

What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?Taking simple or complex stories and telling that story through song... connecting with people in melodic form.

If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?Lol for something real in music. There is a lot of noise in the industry but there isn't a lot of depth. Search for, find and support the songwriters that are doing it for a purpose.

What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Relocation and market saturation. If there are a lot of performers and no one knows you, then it is hard to get into the right doors to share your story.

How do you see the role of performing arts evolving in today’s culture? You no longer have to go to LA, New York or Nashville to make a big difference in music… you can be the “middle class” of music from your hometown.

What inspires your creative process? Life in general, stories of life, other songwriters and my wife

How do you navigate the balance between art and commercial success? This is very difficult for artists… discipline in scheduling to ensure the commercial growth is there is imperative.

What’s been your most memorable project or performance and why? Leading the Inland Northwest Songfest… creating an environment to help 30 other songwriters tell their story was very rewarding.

How has technology influenced live performance and entertainment? I think their will always be room for live performance in person… however, with video (social media/YouTube/etc) people can learn instruments faster, learn how to write a song faster, and get a glimpse into their favorite artist.

What advice would you give to emerging artists? Be ok with hearing the word, ‘No.” It will Happen a lot… stay consistent and work on your craft to continue to get better… the opportunities will eventually come.

How do you stay connected with your audience? Live performance and online…. social media, etc
