About VetTech Homefront LLCVetTech Homefront LLC is a veteran-owned AI training and technology services company in Bethel, Ohio, serving Clermont County and Greater Cincinnati. We teach schools, small businesses, and veterans to use AI hands-on: on-site workshops in plain English, built inside the tools people already own. We also set up local AI that customers own outright, no subscription, running on their own machine, plus computer repair, managed IT, secure data destruction, and web design. Flat rates, published on the website. Founded by a 14-year Army Cavalry Scout. Free AI-skills workshops for veterans in transition.
What differentiates you from the competition? We show up in person and tell the truth about what AI can't do before anyone pays. We install AI that runs on your machine, owned outright, no subscription. The person who sets it up is the one who answers after. Veteran-owned, flat rates.
What are your top selling services or products that your company offers?AI teacher PD for schools. AI workshops for small businesses on their real work. Local AI setup you own: $249 home, $399 business, flat, in person. On-site repair, managed IT, and secure data destruction with a certificate for every device.
If you had one message to get across to future customers, what would it be?You can own AI the way you own your tools: pay once, it runs on your machine, your files stay yours, and a veteran sets it up at your kitchen table and stays reachable after. From the front line to your front door. No one left behind.
What is the biggest marketing challenge that you will face in the upcoming year?Reach. Most people don't know AI they can own even exists; they think AI means a monthly subscription. We're a new veteran-owned company with flat published prices. The challenge: reaching the local schools and households who need it most.

What technologies are having the biggest impact on IT right now?AI, but not the way most people think. The big story isn’t chatbots, it’s that AI models got small and efficient enough to run on ordinary computers. That means AI you own instead of AI you rent. Local AI is what changes things for schools, small businesses, and households, and almost nobody is telling them.

How do you ensure cybersecurity and data protection across systems?By subtraction. The safest data is data that never leaves the building. The AI we set up runs on the customer’s own machine, so their files don’t travel. Beyond that: fewest possible accounts, offline backups, and planning for failure instead of promising it can’t happen.

What trends are driving digital transformation? Two opposite ones. Everything is racing into the cloud and into subscriptions, and a growing group of people are done with that: they want to own their tools again, keep their data at home, and reach a human when something breaks. I built the company for the second group.

How are you managing cloud infrastructure and scalability?Mostly, I don’t, on purpose. I use cloud tools where they earn it, but what I sell is the opposite: AI and services that run on hardware the customer owns. My scaling plan is more customers with their own machines, not a bigger server bill.

What are the key skills in demand for IT professionals today?Translation. Technical skills matter, but the scarce skill is explaining technology in plain English to the person in front of you, a teacher, a shop owner, a retiree with a new machine. The Army taught me to fight with the weapon I have, not the one I wish I had. Same rule in this work: I build people’s skills on the computer and tools they already own.

How do you stay current in such a rapidly evolving field?I build with it every day and verify everything against primary sources. A rule I carried from the Army: no claim counts until it’s checked. Half of staying current in AI is figuring out what’s real, the other half is testing it yourself on your own hardware.

What’s your approach to innovation and problem-solving in IT?Constraints first. Time and money are tight, so every solution has to be simple enough for one person to maintain and cheap enough for my customers to own. I’d rather ship something small that works and is honest about its limits than something impressive that needs a subscription to babysit.
