Phillip Burt is a U.S. Navy veteran, business leader, and operations professional with more than 25 years of experience leading teams, improving processes, and driving organizational performance.
After retiring from military service, he built a successful career in manufacturing, operations management, and workforce development, applying Lean principles and strategic leadership to achieve measurable results.
Currently serving as a Production Manager at Unison in Jacksonville, Phillip leads production teams focused on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for developing high-performing teams, implementing operational efficiencies, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
A passionate advocate for veterans and military families, Phillip is a George W. Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Scholar and actively supports initiatives focused on veteran transition, leadership development, community engagement, and service. He also serves as a Chapter Captain for Team RWB, helping connect veterans to their communities through health, wellness, and meaningful relationships.
Phillip is also a host of 5 Minute Salute on Buzz on Veterans, where he highlights veterans, military leaders, and organizations making a positive impact in their communities while sharing stories of service, leadership, and continued mission beyond the military.
A dedicated husband, father of three, and proud Navy veteran, Phillip remains committed to serving others, strengthening his community, and helping individuals and organizations reach their full potential.
