Why did you choose your industry?I was recruited to stat an Inside Sales team developing emerging Banking relationships nationwide
Who are your typical clients?Clients are businesses who sell their products, goods, and or services B2B or B2G. Typically, these are companies that cannot obtain or increase their capital line from the traditional banking. Additionally, many of these companies are looked over by these traditional banks for various reasons (single concentrations, poor financials/losses, foreign ownership, start-ups, BKs, etc)
What do you like best about being in this industry?Connecting and subsequently assisting small business grow their companies and meeting entrepreneurs and hearing about their goals.
What are common problems you see?A general misunderstanding of our offerings from both our clients/prospects and our banking partners/sources.
What advice/tips do you have for clients?Take time to hear and learn about the offer. Ask questions, lots of questions. Try to speak with a CURRENT client that uses the services you are looking to utilize.
When is your busy season?Any season in which a business operates!
What keeps you up at night?Market uncertainty
How do you market yourself to grow/expand your business?Constant networking. "Sources" are my bloodline, I need them to survive. So frequent "touches" are necessary.
How involved are you in the community?LSQ has a national footprint, so we are selective on local community involvement as it relates to our field personnel.
What is your favorite not for profit or charity?Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida
What advice would you give to someone thinking of getting into this business?Patience, patience, patience.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?Spending time with my granddaughter
